Ashley Ellender Boudreaux | Director
My name is Ashley Ellender Boudreaux. I graduated from Nicholls State University with an associate degree in Child Development and Preschool Management and received my bachelor’s degree in Birth to Five Early Intervention Education with a focus area from Pre-K to 3rd grade. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and its state affiliate, the Louisiana Association of the Education of Young Children (LAAEYC). I have taught one year of kindergarten and ten years of prekindergarten at St. Bernadette Catholic School. God has blessed me and my husband with two amazing children, a son and a daughter. My family and I enjoy fishing, crabbing, and camping in our spare time. I love working with children, and I am very excited about this new opportunity to be a co-director at Pelican Point Preschool!
Kayla Foley | Enrollment Coordinator
I'm Kayla Morgan Foley, the Enrollment Coordinator at Pelican Point Preschool. In 2016, I earned my Bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University, where I was a cheerleader for 4 years and now serve as the head cheer coach. Over the past 7 years, I've taught students in both regular and special education settings at elementary and high school levels. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters interaction and positivity to help others reach their goals. My husband and I have been blessed with two wonderful boys, Brooks and Baylor. In my free time, I enjoy quality moments with my family, shopping, and exploring new places. I am thrilled to be a part of the Pelican Point Preschool community and look forward to working with all the beautiful children here.
Danielle Blanchard Marie
My name is Danielle Blanchard Marie. I am an alumna of Nicholls State University and have taught eleven years of prekindergarten at St. Bernadette Catholic School. I earned an associate degree in Preschool Management and Child Development, a bachelor's degree in Birth to Five Early Intervention Education with a focus area from Pre-K to 3rd grade, and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and its state affiliate, the Louisiana Association of the Education of Young Children (LAAEYC). My husband and I are very blessed to have three beautiful daughters. When we are not working, you can find us camping, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends. Children are my passion, and I am thrilled to be one of the co-directors of Pelican Point Preschool.
