As Teacher Appreciation Week approaches, it’s the perfect time to show educators just how much they mean to your children, families, and the entire community. Whether you’re a parent or student, here are a few thoughtful ways to make teachers feel appreciated this week:
For Parents: Easy, Thoughtful Ways to Show Appreciation
Write a Thank-You Note – A handwritten card or email sharing a specific way your child’s teacher has made an impact is incredibly meaningful.
Send a Kind Word to the Director – Letting our preschool leadership know about the great work a teacher is doing helps that praise go even further.
Offer a Helping Hand – Volunteer to assist with classroom prep, read a book to the class, or help organize materials—your time is a valuable gift.
For Students: Sweet & Simple Ways to Say “Thanks!”
Draw a Picture – Use your creativity to make something just for your teacher—maybe a drawing of your favorite classroom activity!
