Four Delicious and Edible Snack Crafts to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect time for some fun, festive crafts—and what better way to get into the spirit than with edible creations! At Pelican Point Preschool, we love combining creativity with tasty treats. Here are four easy, no-bake ideas that will have your little ones celebrating in style:

Shamrock Rice Krispies Treats

Use green food coloring to transform Rice Krispies treats into shamrock-shaped delights. Simply press the mixture into a baking dish, cut out shamrock shapes with a cookie cutter, and top with green sprinkles for extra fun!

Lucky Green Fruit Kabobs

Make healthy treats with green fruits like grapes, kiwi, and honeydew melon. Let the kids help by threading the pieces onto skewers to create colorful, tasty kabobs!

Gold Coin Cookies

Bake round sugar cookies and decorate them with gold icing or edible glitter to resemble golden coins. You can even add a green frosting “pot” to make it look like they’ve discovered a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Cereal Rainbow Snack

Turn rainbow-colored cereal into a fun St. Patrick’s Day treat by arranging it in the shape of a rainbow on a plate. Add some marshmallows at each end to look like the “gold” at the end of the rainbow.

We look forward to hearing from you!
