As the sun sets over the bayou from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., families gather in the Memorial Park between Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro and Houma Massage Co. for an enchanting evening of candlelit music, art, and community. Children enjoy the hands-on arts & crafts CASA of Terrebonne and Lumiere provides. At the same time, parents take in the vibrant creations of local artists from the Bayou Regional Arts Council. With the fantastic sounds of live music floating through the air and bayou, Luminate Houma offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a moment of peace and beauty to savor under the stars. This event wouldn’t be possible without the sponsorship of the Houma Downtown Development Corporation, Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro, and Jam Up Marketing.
